Please have a look at the Library Service's Wellbeing page where you can find information about Books on Prescription for mental health or dementia, books for people who are visually impaired and the home library for people who are unable to get to a library.

You can also go to Explore your library and enter a word such as 'books on dementia', or whatever your interest might be, in the search box.  This will take you straight to the booklist in the online library catalogue, where you can reserve them online for collection at your local library. 

The strategy sets tough targets for improvement by 2020, including:

  • Reducing levels of obesity in adults and children
  • Safe and warm housing
  • Maximising people's incomes

There are many services in Cornwall that aim to increase your health and wellbeing. Adult Care, Health and Wellbeing's Cornwall Community Directory lists local services and organisations that can help you with support at home, leisure activities, getting around, health and wellbeing, work, learning and volunteering, advice, information and money matters, staying safe, caring for someone and housing and care homes.
